OVERVIEW:

As Sr. Manager, Brands Controlling you are acting as finance business partner to local Marketing and Sales Teams in driving sustainable profitable growth with focus on brand categories, marketing investments & innovations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overall responsibility for BPU SOI management supporting the business to deliver on its ambitions
  • Assist with the planning of financial implications of the marketing budget as it relates to delivering the P&L. Responsible for delivering financial plans and forecasts to headquarter as required.
  • Through effective business partnering and leveraging of tools, provide the Marketing team with a thorough understanding of brand performance across appropriate KPIs and recommend actions to achieve company objectives
  • Analyze efficiency of marketing investments and generate insight-based proposals for future investment allocations
  • Coordinate the marketing budget planning and steering processes and act as guardian of the marketing budget planning tool
  • Ensure financial stability by delivering high-quality marketing budget accruals, and timely and correct reporting of relevant investment bucket details
  • Analyze product assortment efficiency and provide recommendations for future assortment portfolio
  • Drive efficiency - Challenge, investigate and build solutions by brand and business unit that drive efficiency with specific focus on margins and assortment analysis
  • Support strategic evaluations of business opportunities and product (re-)launches by providing structured, ROI-based financial assessment
  • Conduct internal audit tasks to evaluate internal process and compliance risks, propose corrective actions and drive their implementation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA required. At least 5 years of experience in a controlling or business analytics role
  • Experience leading cross functional work with Marketing / Sales business partners required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Sell out / Sell in models as well as integration with S&OP
  • Proactive and collaborative working style
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally
  • Very good user skills in MS Office, SAP, TM1 and BI tools
  • Power BI development is a plus
