Overview

Job Purpose

ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of ICE, has an exciting opportunity within our Market Data Rights Management team. The Market Data Rights Management team is responsible for the management of third-party market data usage and distribution rights within the organization, ensuring that market data is administered in accordance with the licensing obligations of third-party market data sources as well as internal business rules and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex third-party market data source contracts, policy documents and price lists and present summarized, standardized documentation on distribution rights via information repositories and systems.
  • Process source mandated changes to policies and pricing by updating documentation, maintaining internal systems, and preparing materials to communicate changes both internally and externally to clients.

  • Use knowledge of third-party market data licensing rules to advise on any third-party source risk associated with new ICE product launches or enhancements. Work with Product groups to reduce risks and manage third-party source outreach for new product sign-off where relevant.
  • Assess prospect customer use-cases that fall outside of ICE's standardized and approved use-cases and approve on a case-by-case basis.
  • Review and resolve inquiries related to usage policies, pricing and billing issues, as well as entitlement system administration.
  • Support the external audit defense team by providing distribution rights information, both current and historical. Assist with researching audit related inquiries.
  • Use third-party market data and ICE product knowledge to define and prioritize compliance related projects.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in market data industry, including compliance and contract management background.
  • Familiarity with real time, end-of-day and Non-Display use cases.
  • Ability to analyze complex policy data (contracts and policy documents, fee schedules, new rule announcements) to identify adjustments to current systems and processes.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in the standard Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Access); knowledge of Microsoft Visio a plus.
  • Ability to learn new software applications and systems.
  • Adept at creating and maintaining effective relationships through strong interpersonal skills.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
